Winston W-Y Kao, PhD is a professor, Ben and Louise Tate Professor, Director, Crawley Vision Science Research Center and Ophthalmic Research Laboratories Ophthalmology, University of Cincinnati, His research interests are in biology and pathobiology of ocular surface tissues, e.g., cornea, conjunctiva, eyelids, Meibomian gland, etc. He is past president of the International Ocular Surface Society (IOSS). He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Molecular Vision and The Ocular Surface.
